Tatiana is a native of Ukraine and currently is a very active artist of the South Shore artist community. Tatiana has been an award winning artist at several local South Shore Art Associations (North River Art, Duxbury, Quincy). Her favorite subject to paint is portraiture with the subtle revelation of the person's mood and personality. She paints portraits and figures with local artists groups. However, she paints what inspires her on the spot; landscapes and still-lifes, too. She is a member of Oil Painters of America, Connecticut Portrait Society and local South Shore Art Associations.
This show is called “Essence of Color” and reveals Tatiana's latest intense study to paint floral still-lifes by studying the color saturations, temperature and shapes of various flowers and green leaves.
Tatiana says: “Painting and drawing helps me to reveal and understand who I am. I revere the beauty of nature and the design that the nature offers to us to see. To notice all of these hidden treasures in the obvious is the gift for the artist. My great desire in life is to keep painting and drawing and I treasure my passion to do so.”
